After starting CA File Master Plus for DB2 for z/OS, you can log in to the application to access DB2 data. Ensure that you have a valid CA License Management Program (LMP) key before you log in.
Follow these steps:
A Login dialog appears.
Note: If the Login dialog does not appear, click the
icon from the Data Source Explorer window.
Specifies the login user identifier.
Specifies the login password.
Specifies the TCP/IP host name of the subsystem (LPAR).
Specifies the TCP/IP connection port number of the server.
Specifies the DB2 connection preferences to be used for every login.
You are logged in to CA File Master Plus for DB2 for z/OS. The host and all the active DB2 subsystems within the host appear in a hierarchical fashion in the Data Source Explorer view.
Note: To log out from CA File Master Plus for DB2 for z/OS, click the logout
icon from the Data Source Explorer.
